Guide a band of early apes through six million years, all the way to colonies on Mars.

Start with a small band of tree-dwelling apes at the edge of an African forest. Keep them fed and watered, send foraging parties to berry bushes and the river, shelter them from storms and leopards, and spend Evolution Points on real traits: walking upright, endurance, dexterity, bigger brains, communication and cooperation. Every trait changes the simulation, and some come with trade-offs, like bigger bodies that need more food.

Discover stone tools, fire, spears and clothing, migrate across savannas, river valleys and highlands, then settle down with farming, villages, writing and trade. Build industry, electricity, medicine and computers, launch satellites, land on the Moon and found colonies on the Moon and Mars. Watch your species change shape and your camp grow into a city as you go. Five development paths, random environmental events, achievements, a New Lineage prestige system and short science notes on every trait and technology. Progress saves automatically.
